A six week Women’s Kickstart class at Rise sparked my love of fitness and resistance training. At the time, I felt unfit and overwhelmed in the midst of ‘mom life.’ I knew it was time to make a change and put a priority back on my own physical and mental health. The positive changes that I experienced reinforced the importance that fitness would have in my life, and I knew RISE would be vital to my commitment. I believe that resistance training is a catalyst for creating change in a person’s physical, emotional, and mental health. It's a commitment to a lifestyle; a mindset that affects every aspect of your life. Each day is another chance to get stronger, be active, eat to live healthier - becoming the best version of you. Family comes first for me. I love being active with my boys - in the gym, on the trails, the golf course and the lake!
